2. Consultation
30–45 minutes with Dr. Hernandez. Donor evaluation, pattern of loss, goals discussion, and a written plan with pricing. $200 deposit credited to treatment.
3. Procedure day
FUE under local anesthesia in our Fresno clinic. 4–8 hours, same-day. You're awake, comfortable, and home that evening.
4. Recovery
Tiny scabs heal in 5–10 days. Most return to desk work within a week. Shock loss at 2–4 weeks is expected.
5. Growth
Visible new hair at 3 months, meaningful density at 6, final result at 9–12 months. Yearly check-in afterward.
What we ask of you
The procedure itself is on us. The result is a partnership: post-op care, any prescribed medical therapy, sun protection, and patience through the growth timeline all matter. The patients who do best treat the year after surgery as part of the procedure.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly can I be scheduled?+
Consultations are usually available within 1–2 weeks. Procedure scheduling depends on case complexity and graft count.
Do I need to do anything before the consultation?+
Stop biotin supplements 2 weeks before if possible (they can affect labs). Otherwise just bring photos of your hair from 5–10 years ago if you have them.
What's the consultation fee for?+
$200 secures your slot with Dr. Hernandez and is fully credited toward your treatment. It's not a surcharge — it's part of your treatment cost paid up front.
